This is a birthday present for me and I cannot rave on too much about it, I simply love it, the style and colour are gorgeous and that's before you even switch it on! It's simple and easy to use and the sample of different cofffee sent give you such a choice and I am working my way through them. The coffee when it comes through is the perfect temperature and the taste is amazing. Now the Aeroccino is a fabulous little machine that froths up hot and cold milk and to say my cappuccinos are a amazing is an understatement. I received my package within two days of ordering,well packaged and in perfect condition. If you are thinking about buying this fabulous machine just do it ! my husband is now calling me his personal barista! I only wish I had purchased one of these machines ages ago !

Great coffee machine, dodgy Aeroccino

Never really fancied the whole Nespresso concept, being a bit of a Gaggia snob, until I rented a holiday apartment where they had a Pixie, and when I came home I felt bereft without it, so had to get one straight away. I chose this one. Because it's red. An orangey-red rather than brick red, but still red, looks funky & cheerful on the worktop. And gets you a reliably great espresso in less time than it takes to boil a kettle, perfect for that first hit of the morning.Like any coffee machine, you should always run off a cup of hot water before putting in the coffee pod, and never pour hot coffee into a cold cup.Unfortunately the Aeroccino broke after a few months. I drink mostly espressos so can't have used the Aeroccino more than a dozen times in all. Maybe that was part of the problem. Anyway, what happened was that the button stuck in the cold position, so that the moment you powered it on, it started whipping up a charge of cold milk, no way of getting hot froth for a cappuccino. Nespresso replaced it without quibble, didn't seem the least surprised by the fault report, in fact I understand these things are notoriously unreliable. You have to wonder about the quality control.But the coffee machine is fine, works like a dream (and gets a LOT of use!). I now consider it an essential piece of kitchen equipment, like a kettle or a toaster. 4 stars rather than 5 because of the Aeroccino.
