Not So Hot...

I have not been able to make a hot cup of coffee with this machine. It was suggested that after making a coffee you use the steam want to heat it up! This defeats the purpose of paying all that money for an automatic machine!Also, I'm not even sure it's working properly. I'm not get any consistency, sometimes the coffee is watery and bitter and other times too strong - without changing any of the settings.I would like to return it.

Fantastic Unit

I used to have the Cappuccino X2. Just upgraded to this model. I had a choice between the Gaggia academia or this one. They are both own by Philips (Saeco and Gaggia).I went for this one because of the Digital ID. It's really useful. A big improvement from the 1st Gen X2 automated coffee machine. acoustic reduction and the rinsing process is not tedious. Not cheap but this is high end machine.
