Melitta Look Deluxe coffee maker

I bought the black and silver Melitta Look Deluxe coffee maker from amazon and I love it! Most important it makes a lovely hot cuppa coffee with a great depth to the coffee flavour, but have the aroma knob turned to strong, to be honest though if you want milder coffee just put less coffee in, it brews coffee at 93c and is about 80-85c in the jug, Melitta is the only make that I have found which states the brewing temperature, sooo many other machines make tepid coffee and that is not good enough.This Melitta machine is so easy when filling the water reservoir, you can fill it on either side with easy to read cup markings. It doesn't have a permanent filter but has a removable filter holder for the size 4 filter papers which I always use anyway because they are better.The glass jug does not dribble water everywhere when pouring and it has cup marks on the edge of the plastic where the handle is attached but they are so small you need 20/20 vision to see them, but that doesn't worry me either, you can see how much is in the jug by just looking. It comes with a two pin plug which goes into a three pin adapter pug (supplied) and looks very neat and secure.It is a good looking, well made German machine which makes great enjoyable coffee at the right temperature - HOT ENOUGH TO ENJOY!!
