Great Coffee maker and stylish too

I was looking for a new coffee maker as my old one was Huuuge maimly because it was an expresso maker too and it was not being used.. When I saw this it looked fabulous in the translucent red (which also has matching items such as toaster and kettle,etc) and sitting on my counter top looks very stylish..SO.. how about the making of coffee... well... it was fabulous and a dream to use.. Like others have said, it makes 12 cups or 6 mugs, and as to not being able to make strong coffee ( as reported by one reviewer) it makes coffee perfectly from one cup to 12 ( Weak or as strong as you like).. Filling with water and reading the blue illuminating marker on the outside is very easy.. the lid actually folds right back to allow the glass jug to fill the water resevoir, no problems.It also has an inbuilt clock which I personally find very useful because waking up to a cup of coffee (or tea) is great first thing on a morning while having a wash and change... especially at 5am..:(..The duel heating plate is also a welcome idea as many will stew the coffee when they have small amounts left in the jug... but even after 2 hours it will switch itself off anyway .. the coffee would be no good after longer then this. The build quality is suffice... in fact.. it's quite light but still feels sturdy enough to do the job.. The buttons you push do feel a little wobbly ( as reported by someone else) but they don't need to be prodded or poked heavily to make it work... in other words.. it does what it says on the tin... makes great coffee anytime..I read somewhere that they had found water dripping from the lid when lifted after making the coffee to refil it or clean it... I did find this to ( not that it bothered me anyway) but I found that if the lid if lifted fully, the catch tray at the rear actually does it's job.. but this might irritate some.. but don't let that put you off as we are only talking a few drips. One thing I will mention... it actually makes great tea too.. I'm a bit of a tea buff and love my English Breakfast tea.. and it does the loose leaf proud and leaves hardly any tea particles behind.. which is testament to the quality of the filter... so in some respects you could say your getting 2 items in one for your money..:) So in conclusion.. if your looking for a great coffee machine, not overly expensive, which makes great coffee ( and even tea in this case) look no further... Does the job - just.

You get what you pay for and it's not expensive.It looks nice but the buttons are light and plasticky. A bit wobbly.The biggest problem is that there is no way you can make a full pot of coffee unless you like it incredibly weak. In my experience, even when I fill the machine with as much full-strength coffee as it can take, this will only be enough to make 1/3 a jug of medium strength coffee.

It glows in the dark!

This coffee maker doesn't just make coffee... it sits on the countertop and glows with an otherworldly light! It tells you how long the pot's been sitting on the warmer, so you can brace yourself properly. And after an hour, it shuts itself off. What more could you want?
