Professional chromed brass filter holder and ring, as used in Gaggia's

commercial machines, ensure a consistent temperature throughout the

coffee making and dispensing process.

Rotating Steamer 180



Panarello steamer attachment rotates for easy access to froth milk in seconds.

Also delivers hot water for tea and other hot drinks.
Optional Water Filter



Optional water filter can prevent tainting of the coffee and maintains

a purer flavour, as well as keeping your machine cleaner.
Solenoid Valve



Gaggia's solenoid valve delivers a widespread shower through the coffee,

eliminating 1 hotspots which can burn the coffee. Its precise pressurisation

Good value espresso machine ... but

This espresso machine has provided us with a mixed experience.I was looking for a replacement of my Francis Francis Espresso machine and this machine came out high in a Which? review and based on that I decuded to replace my machine with the Gaggia Baby Class.The machine has a nice design and looks well-build with one exception. In the espresso filter holder you are supposed to insert a small plastic "thimble" without which coffee sometimes sprays out (in my kitchen it has literally sprayed coffee on my wall). This is a big design fault, which I have never seen with any other espresso machine.The coffee is very nice with a wonderful layer of 'crema' on top. I am surprised that the coffee can taste so different from one machine to the next. This is produces excellent coffee.When cleaning the machine I accidentally threw away the 'thimble' and I have received any feedback from Gaggia trying to resolve the issue. Have been trying for 4 weeks sending multiple messages.I have been told the newer models are redesigned and delivered without this thimble. So if that is the case, I would say this is an excellent machine providing good value ... but do double-check if this is the model with the plastic insert in the espresso filter holder.

Beautiful looking and great coffee

I just purchased this after much deliberation about which machine I wanted!This is a gorgeous looking machine, works a dream and makes lovely coffee. Would definitely recommend!
