great little machine!

I've been waiting for the Magimix Cream Citiz machine to come down in price for quite a while, but that truly just for aesthetics reasons to match the rest of my kitchen, however when the new Pixi versions of the Nespresso machines, I couldn't resist getting one.It really is an excellent little machine, shorter and more importantly shallower in profile compared to the Citiz model. It doesn't stick out as much on the kitchen counter and it really is just pretty. The coffees (from the sampler pack)does vary a lot in taste, so make sure you remember which ones to like when you order more. I love the fact that there is no mess involved and all you have to really do is to wipe down the machine once in a while.The coffee that comes out isn't piping hot but if you warm up the cup first by running the machine without a pod(and dumping the water), the coffee stays at an acceptable temperature for longer. The pre-set "espresso" and "lungo" volumes can be easily re-programmed to give however much water you want and the light indicator at the front is useful when the water is running low.The coffee from the Nespresso website is not hugely expensive consider the quality of the blends and if you order over 20 sleeves (200 pods)postage is under £2. Just remember to try out all the flavours first, not all of them will suit you.

Had this espresso machine for a few days now. Cant praise it highly enough. It doesnt do the faffy unnecessarry milky uht things it makes great tasting strong coffee. You can pay extra for the milk wizzy thing but you can do a similar thing with a very cheap milk frother (£1 from ikea). The machine is so simple put water in resevoir - lift chrome bar - put pod thingy in - close bar - press either button (left small shot 40ml or right lungo 110ml) that is it. I like strong coffee so i chose strong pods from the very simple to use nespresso web site. Be sure to order lots, postage is 6 squid. . I looked and tried other pod coffee machines im my opinion this is the best.

Just brought this espresso machine for a few days now and its turned me into an espresso drinker. Why cause it produces an excellent cup of espresso with many flavours to choose from at the right drinking temperature. And also the right perfect grounded tasting coffee for making an home made latte or cappuccino and just adding frothy milk to the coffee.Simple to use and no need to grind coffee beans, boil water just place a cup and and drop in a pod and have an excellent cup of coffee with the right amount its programmed to produce in minutes with no mess.
