Great German kit...

We've had two Bosch coffee makers with thermal carafes, so that was our starting point when we needed a new one. This Melitta makes great coffee and has a nice carafe. We miss the removable water reservoir from both of the Bosch models, but overall this little machine does a great job. I wish we had read the description carefully as this one has a German plug, and therefore a bulky adapter protruding from the wall. We would have purchased the same machine from a different seller to get one equipped with an English plug.Overall, a good purchase.
