The perfect cup of coffee

I was going to purchase the Gaggia Classic, but opted for the more expensive Gaggia Titanium, I certainly do not regret this. This machine is very simple to use and easy to clean. Why easy? Just simply put the coffee beans in the top, water in the tank at the back and press a button and coffee at it's best within a minute. Two cups of Coffee? no problem press the button twice and the LED display reads two coffee's. 1st, button from the left, is small coffee, 2nd button from left is medium size coffee, and the third button from left is large coffee. The LED display reminds you when it require's more water or more coffee beans. Let's you know when the dregs container (coffee dispenser) is full. Does self tests, rinses etc. Easy to froth and warm the milk using the steam nozzle and pipe attached. And if you really like your Cappuccino coffee then it comes with an accessory named Cappuccinatore that you attach to the steam pipe and does the frothing for you. It has a cup heater plate present in the machine cover to warm your cups. It will even switch itself on and off using the automatic on/off function in the menu. So set it for your early morning coffee, and if you leave the machine on, it has a energy saving function that you can enable. This machine even tells you how many cups of coffee you have had in total. You can even adjust the quantity of coffee you want in your cup and even adjust the temperature of your coffee to be hot or warm. For your coffee to be at it's best, then use coffee beans, good quality beans. But if you run out of the beans or can't get them, then this machine will also make coffee with ground coffee, and for this a scoop is provided.

10,000 coffees and still going.....

Bought one of these 6 or 7 years ago, descaled it regularly when prompted and cleaned out the brew unit every couple of weeks just rinsing it under the warm tap and drying it. Of late it displays the odd ventilate instruction on the display and seems to need cleaning a bit more regularly but not to the point where it becomes a hassle. We have used it with a range of coffee beans from the local supermarkets even using pre ground the odd time when we run out. I'm a product designer by training and have to say that IMHO these are well though out, we'll designed pieces of kit. They're starting to get a bit long in the tooth but there are still some how to videos on YouTube that show you how to deal with some of the issues beyond regular cleaning should you need to go there. My friend got one based on our experience next model up the Plus with an additional control know right on the front of the interface panel. His has had a few issues and gone in for maintainable but that might be more down to how well it was looked after.

Titanium that as good as scrap metal

We have had this machine for about 1 year and it has spent most of that being repaired. The last time it broke I asked for it to be replaced but they refused. The machine was sent to Italy to be repaired and came back and still would not work. I have sent an email to the supplier La Gondala on amazon marketplace and they have not even replied. So if you want a coffee machine that does not take up any space because its always at the repairer then this is the one for you!!!!
