It is capable of using both ground coffee as well as pods and comes with 7 coffee pods. A dial gauge, marked with coffee and steam readings, indicates when the machine is ready for your desired function, and the built-in frother froths or steams milk for specialty coffee drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos. Stunning Looks Poor Support

Had my machine for three years before the seal in the group head burst. If it was a common well known coffee machine, its repairable. Parts are readily available for the likes of Gaggia, Ascaso and even Juras, but for this none. I even contacted Bugatti and had no reply. So right now its just an expensive kitchen ornament.I am not a heavy user, but it had a failure in three years so if you are going to purchase this machine you need take in account is it serviceable? Right now I cannot find anyone to replace a simple seal and there are more costly parts that can fail like the pump and the boiler. There is water level warning in the machine to tell you if the water tank is empty which you could damage the machine if you accidently run the machine on empty. It could easily happen as the tank is tucked away at the back. You have to keep popping your head around at the back to check if its full of water.Other niggles, the drip tray is not easy to clean. It has this handy float which tells you if the tray is fullbut you cannot remove it to clean the back of the tray.You cannot fill the portafilter as much as you would with other machines as the brew head comes down a bit. If you fill it too much the coffee could flow out over the portafilter. If fact it does that quite a few times, coffee leaks out over the portafilter.As its a single boiler there is a bit of wait between brewing and steaming. You could try temperature surfing ie steam first then draw water and steam at the same time to drop the temperature down and then wait for it to heat up before brewing a shot, but you would empty the tray and fill the tank more often. The drip tray and water tank is not that big.Overall I am disappointed with this machine. You pay for the looks but fails in performance and ultimately customer support.

Very Happy with my new maker. Has good Crema and looks so very COOL. The only complaint is for 2 cups, its a bit of work. Heat up the pump chamber for the Espresso, (2 minutes), Make coffee. The change the setting to Steam and wait 3 minutes to make foam. If you want to make another coffee, you have to wait until the chamber cools down (2 minutes). I make both coffees (change ground once), then steam/froth milk in a large jug (Heat milk in the microwave first so that it is hot when ready to froth. Worth the while, the Lattes or Caps get the wow factor from all our guests.

This machine with out doubt looks even better in real life than it does in the pictureIf your going to use pods personally I would by a cheaper machine but they do allow anyone to make a decent esspressoIf not using pods this machine is Not for a beginner you will need a good grinder I would go no lower than a kitchen aid burr grinder,it does takes a bit of getting use to but if your into your espresso it's all part of the funThe steamer is very good you can get almost 2minutes of steam in a continuous flow, no pumping action like so many doThe only downside I would say is the water chamber is a little small
