Best thought out filter maker I have ever used

It has a compact design, a removable water tank which makes it so easy to fill and it doesn't drip or leak. The temperature of the coffee is HOT, not tepid like most and the plate keeps the coffee HOT without burning it.Auto shut off (after your coffee has stewed!) and a detachable filter holder so there isn't any mess. Top marks for this product on value and performance. Though not a 15 bar pressure coffee maker, it's absolutely ideal for coffee lovers of the filter variety. Makes a full pot quite quickly too!

Great design, unusual and efficient

This is an original-looking coffee maker from an apparently reputable German company. They seem to do basic, work-horse type machines and this is their only one with some design flair to it. They have kept it simple with nice touches like the detachable tank and the hour-glass effect of the cone and tapered jug. I have never liked the permanent filter options as they take so much washing. This takes filter papers which are quicker and easier to just remove and chuck in the compost.The machine is fast and produces piping hot coffee on a small footprint but with a decent capacity. It is all plastic but still looks good without taking up the entire counter-top.Very pleased with this purchase. It arrived remarkably quickly too.
