ASCASO Poor Service, No Spares, Utter Rubbish!

No Service, No Support, No Spares availability.. I purchased a £450 Ascaso Espresso Machine! Two weeks after it arrived the Pump Fell Off? It was returned under guarantee and the repair report stated that the pump had not been riveted in place correctly, six months later two of the pretty blue Led's stopped lighting up! shortly afterwards the Temperature Gauge, stopped working, There were No Led's available and although I am a qualified electrician they refused to supply a replacement Temperature gauge for me to fit myself as it was two weeks out of guarantee?.. Then the remainder of the Blue Led's went out and Finally the Boiler short circuited leaving me with a very nice shiny Stainless Steel Box that was absolutely USELESS.. I researched and wrote to the manufacturers in Spain only to be told that they don't like to receive letters like that? The Product is attractive and looks good on the kitchen worktop but as we only made around four cups of espresso coffee daily for just over a year it is absolute Rubbish.. Please Don't Buy Ascaso you will most certainly regret it!

After suffering a leaky Gaggia we bought this Ascaso to tide us over when it was being repaired for the second time. It is basic but simple to use and makes great coffee.
